What we collect
When you contact Thomo's Odd Jobs, we may collect the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, suburb, job description and any photos you choose to share.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand overall website use, such as pages visited, referral sources, device type and broad location. This information is anonymised, does not use cookies, and is used to improve the website and our services.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange or deliver services, communicate with you, and maintain our business records. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments and third-party providers
We use Square Point of Sale to process payments and issue receipts. If you choose Afterpay for an eligible job, Afterpay processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control how Square or Afterpay independently handle information they collect to provide their services.

Storage and sharing
We use business systems and service providers to operate the website, customer portal, payment process and communications. We only share information where necessary to provide those services, with your consent, or where required by law.
Keeping records secure
We take reasonable steps to protect business and customer information from loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can guarantee absolute security. If an issue affects personal information, we will assess it and respond in line with our legal obligations.
Retention and customer portal history
We keep business and tax records for at least the period required by law, generally at least 5 years for relevant sole-trader tax and financial records. Some records may need to be retained for longer. Removing a booking or completed job from your customer portal history only removes it from your view; it does not delete the underlying business record, invoice or document.
We review personal information when it is no longer needed for our business or legal obligations and take reasonable steps to securely destroy or de-identify it where appropriate.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct your personal information by contacting us. If you have a privacy question, please use the contact page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business and its systems evolve. The current version will always be published here.
